It seems like a new buzz term; it's a French word that means luxurious. It bugs me because it often seems to be used by hipsters who don't really have any money but pretend to by buying expensive things and using French words. But maybe that's just my interpretation. It's so "faux." LOL.
Oh yes, the $30,000 millionaire syndrome. I guess these are the same hipsters whose fancy homes are now being foreclosed on. Er, wait, hipsters don't have houses, they live in swanky uptown apartments. I'd hate to see these peoples' Visa bills!

Is it a short form of "deluxe"? 'Cause, you know, "deluxe" is a really long and awkward word that really needed a short form. :)
