I wonder what a suburban taco is like ...
On Sunday afternoon, we felt like getting out of the house for a little while. Zoe had had a longish nap and was cheerful, so we decided to go for it. It was pretty nice out, and I wanted to sit on a patio. We threw around several suggestions and couldn’t decide among our old standbys so we decided to go to Mockingbird Station and pick a place once we got there. We walked around and window-shopped for a while, then we people-watched all the pretty hipster types.
We walked by Urban Taco and four people sitting outside encouraged us to try it. “It’s really good,” they said, and since they were just about finished with their food, we decided to trust them. Man, I’m glad we did. The food was excellent. Taqueria fare, but slightly upscale, really great combinations and flavors. I also had a margarita, probably the best I’ve had in Dallas to date. And Zoe was in a good mood, too, so we all had fun.
