Updates

I've been trying to update some of the sections on the site, with Nate's generous help. I think there were places where I talked about living in Chicago, and we haven't lived there for almost a year now. I've been busy for the last few months, but now find myself with a lot of free time, so a little house cleaning was in order.

I've read quite a bit lately. Bag of Bones, by Stephen King (one of his better books, I would argue) and Night of the Radishes by Sandra Benitez.

Now that I have all this time, I've been trying to revise the novel. Not sure why, but I'm having a tough time getting into it. One of my writing profs warned me while I was in school not to let a book lie fallow for too long or you could lose it. I don't think that's happened here but I feel like a motor that won't rev. I think I just need a little jolt or something.

But I have my notes and a plan and I'm hoping that my little engine will be one of the ones that can.
